A Board of Censors was appointed for one year, consisting of C. C. Blanchard, M.D., Delavan; H. D. B. Dustin, M.D., Markesan; II I. Laflin, M.D., La Crosse; F. A. Barber, M.D., Watertown; C. O. Jenison, M.D., Milwaukee, and the President. On motion, that F. A. Barber, M.D., be empowered to represent the Society at Madison and apply for a charter. On motion, the President appointed subjects for essays for different members of the Society to be read at the next session. The following is the schedule: C. O. Jenison, on the Heart; H. D. B. Dnstiu, Obstetrics; C. C. Blanchard, Diphtheria; K. H. Stetson, Lungs; H. B. Laflin, Case in Practice; C. M. Poff, Malarial Fever; C. H. Culver, Typhoid Fever. The following gentlemen were appointed charter members: B. T. Sanborne, Janesville; J. A. Hutchinson, Racine; H. H. Judd, Edgerton; James Lawn, Wyocena, and G. F. Hamilton, Augusta; all being graduates. The certificates and seal in the possession of F. A. Barber was received as the certificate and seal of this Society. It was decided to hold the next session at Janesville, Rock County, on the first Thursday of June, 1879. On motion, the Society adjourned. ABSTRACTS FROM THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUDSON RIVER DISTRICT ECLECTIC MEDICAL SOCIETY. The above Society met pursuant to adjournment on the 14th of February, 1879, at Stanwix Hall, Chatham Village, Columbia County, New York.
